OTTAWA, Canada – April XX, 2023
Dubai Taxi Corporation (DTC), of the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA), signed an agreement with BluWave-ai. The signing ceremony took place in the DTC headquarters by Mansour Rahma Alfalasi, CEO of Dubai Taxi, and Devashish Paul, CEO of BluWave-ai, with the presence of a number of officials from both parties. The Canadian company is represented by Al Usul Company in the United Arab Emirates.
The agreement will bring the BluWave-ai specialized artificial intelligence solutions in fields of renewable energy and transport electrification to develop optimization models in EV penetration for DTC’s fleet [maybe insert number of vehicles in fleet?]. DTC will provide the data that will allow BluWave-ai to develop an operating model for the electrical vehicles that combines the starting and charging of vehicles batteries, moving this into the stage of live testing.
This agreement was announced in unison with DTC’s plans to transfer 100% its fleet by 2027 to environmentally-friendly vehicles; including hybrid, hydrogenous, and electrical vehicles. The plan has been approved by the RTA to further the corporate strategy to provide innovative and sustainable transportation services, in accordance with the highest international standards.
The agreement includes the appointment of a joint committee from both sides to follow up with the operational plan, the objectives, and study performance outputs. Both parties will exchange the best practices in creativity and innovation in common areas of work.
The targeted results of this agreement through cooperation with a major company as Bluwave-ai will constitute a qualitative addition to the infrastructure that the Emirate of Dubai is developing to accelerate the spread of environmentally-friendly vehicles and increase the demand for their use, by reducing the charging time and reaching a shorter period of time and increase the electric milage at the lowest costs.
The BluWave-ai EV Orchestrator software product uses AI to assist fleet operators in integrating electric vehicles into their fleets. The solution offers features such as intelligent EV charging, route and schedule optimization, and depot and BESS management to optimize the use of EVs. The product uses AI and machine learning algorithms to help fleet operators make informed decisions, thus reducing costs and increasing efficiency. Through this agreement, the two parties seek to support partnership efforts and the success of joint initiatives and projects to achieve their vision and strategic goals, in a way that enhances the directions of the Dubai Government in smart and sustainable mobility.
