BluWave-ai Global Energy Transition Summit: AI Software Unlocking EV Onboarding for Grids and Fleets
Virtual, April 13, 2022, 11am-12pm EST
The next installment of the BluWave-ai Global Energy Transition Summit delves into a key energy transition trend for 2022: the large proliferation of passenger EVs and electrified transport fleets and how this phenomenon is affecting operations of electricity grids, as these grids become the new “fueling stations.” Managing residential EV chargers and supplying fleet operators in the grid is complex from the utility side given grid capacity constraints. These operations require graceful charging management within the utility grid to avoid overloading the grid infrastructure. Transit and freight fleet operators are also trying to maximize EV miles serviced by offsetting diesel miles driven with their fleets to reduce emissions and operating costs. This requires fleet orchestration to manage these mixed fleets. Fleet orchestration coordinates disparate systems around fleet management including chargers, vehicles, depot energy management, solar generation, battery storage, real-time energy pricing, and weather. These needs are addressed by the EV Everywhere and EV Fleet Orchestrator products from BluWave-ai.
Online: Wednesday November 18, 2020 (10:00am - 11:00am EST)
